Rain Edge of a river  /  2017 / lambda printMounted with Aluminum Composite Material, collage 1100×1600×50mm/ Air Real/ Kawaguchi Art Gallery ATLIA/ Saitama

Fukushima, Ishinomaki, Seto Inland Sea. Ultra thin photographic sculpture where the same photograph was layered on the anonymous landscape taken there. It is a tracing such as rain and snow that emerges as an invisible layer. Rain and snow are natural phenomena that can occur anytime, anywhere. The scenery implies a different time axis that surely existed in the ancient times, or even a few days ago, and may exist from now on.

About rain / 2017/ A stone, ink jet print on paper / 230×340×270 mm// Air Real/ Kawaguchi Art Gallery ATLIA/ Saitama

A series of photographic sculptures that collages photographs of objects such as stone, tree, old furniture, dish, postcard, etc. on the surface of that object itself.

It appears as layered images such as rain, snow and various phenomena.

Rain and snow are natural phenomena that can occur anywhere and anytime, and pictures collaged on the surface of the object are cut from a specific time of the object itself.

It seems that nothing seems to change at first glance.

This work is a photograph sculpture that simultaneously displays different invisible time axes of past, present and future.
