The tatami mats are shaking, as if in concert with the Seto Inland Sea that is visible outside the window. Photographs of tatami have been printed on a sculpture made from aluminum sheeting that takes the surface of the water as a motif. This invisible sculpture that manifests itself in the entire room acts as a trigger for scenes that could evoke the lives of those who have confronted the seas and time that has transpired.
