Off the coast of the Seto Inland Sea, the artist did a performance piece slowly rowing a boat. The artist is completely clad in a suit on which have been printed the lapping waves of the surface of the sea, and this ends up disappearing into the same color and becoming one with the sea. This person who dissolves into the sea is an archetype for the people who traversed this sea, many, many times, many hundreds of years ago.
